An X DM writer that reads their posts before you write.

Paste an x.com profile, a link to one of their posts or an @handle. ProudAgent reads the bio, the website and the newest posts and threads, shows the post each hook came from, and drafts one X DM or email from your own case studies. You send it yourself.

The first three messages are free, no card needed. Nothing touches your X account.

Hi Lena, I read your thread about the export question taking over your support inbox. Six months in is about when that pattern shows up. We helped Tallyroom cut the same kind of repeat tickets with an in-app help panel. Is support still just you, or has someone joined?

Six months in and most support tickets are the same question. How do I export my data. Building the button this weekend.

Every name in this example is invented.

The bio, the website and what they actually write about.

On X the bio is short and the posts carry the signal, so ProudAgent reads more of them. Counts that only invite flattery are left out.

From a handle to a message on your clipboard.

About 20 seconds to the hooks. The choices after that are yours.

  1. Under 20 seconds

Paste a profile, a post or an @handle

x.com and twitter.com links both work, and so does a link to any post of theirs. The public profile and the Posts tab are fetched, in whatever language they are written.

3 ways to name the profile
  2. Hooks, each with its post

Something they posted, a thread, a line from the bio. Each hook quotes the exact words it came from, with the post's date, likes, replies and views and a link to it. A hook without its words in the source is thrown away.

2–3 hooks, each quoting its source
  3. Your call

Pick the format and the tone

An X DM, plain text with no subject line, or an email with a subject line. About 80 words each, warm, professional or direct, checked for buzzwords and AI tells.

2 formats for an X prospect
  4. Optional

    Dig deeper from their website

When the bio links to their company, Dig deeper reads that site and searches for recent news about it. A link-in-bio page is not a company, so you are asked for the website instead.

1 website, from the bio or from you
  5. Then

    You send it

The message goes to your clipboard and nowhere else. Paste it into X or your email yourself. Raw prospect data is purged after 30 days.

Does ProudSend send the X DM for me?

No. ProudSend never sends a DM, never follows, likes or replies, and never logs into X. You copy the message it writes and send it from your own account, like any DM you write by hand.

What can I paste into ProudSend?

An x.com profile URL, a twitter.com one, a link to one of the person's posts or just their @handle. ProudSend takes the handle from any of them and reads the profile and the Posts tab.

Which posts does ProudSend read on X?

ProudSend reads the newest posts and threads, up to ten, with the pinned post first when it is among them. A thread is read as one post. Reposts, replies to other people and posts that are only a link are skipped, because a hook has to be something the prospect wrote.

What if the X account is private?

ProudSend reads public profiles only, so a private account can't be fetched. Paste the profile text instead and ProudSend runs the same hooks and checks on what you pasted.

Why write to someone on X instead of LinkedIn?

Founders, indie hackers and developers often say on X what they never put on LinkedIn: what they are stuck on, what they are switching away from, what they are building next. ProudSend treats that as the best kind of hook, a thing they said in their own words.

Writing to someone on LinkedIn instead? The LinkedIn message writer reads their profile the same way, and both work from the same knowledge base.

Write the first X DM.

Paste a handle, pick a hook, copy a message you would be proud of.

The first three messages are free, no card needed. Pricing.
